As we noted in our game breakdown on Friday, “Virginia needs to continue to dominate the line of scrimmage and be physical with Miami on both sides of the ball. But the ‘Hoos will need a stellar performance from Marques Hagans and the passing game to win.”

The running game did what was required of it; the passing game did not. It’s that simple.
