Since returning from his official visit to N.C. State, Ragsdale (NC) 5-10, 220-pound tailback Toney Baker has heard a few rumors. So what has the All-American, 5-star recruit heard and are they true?

“I heard that I committed to N.C. State,” Baker said. “I haven’t committed anywhere. I also heard that I made 2 visits this past weekend. I only went to N.C. State.”

Several things impressed Baker on his visit to Raleigh last weekend. Getting along with the players and learning more about N.C. State’s academics were the highlights of the trip.

“It was great,” Baker said of his N.C. State visit. “I really enjoyed it. I got to meet a lot of players – I felt like I fit in pretty good. I knew a lot of the players I saw there. What impressed me a lot was the academics. I’m thinking about majoring in Communications and they brought out the head of that department and he broke it down for me.”
