Southern High School (Durham, NC) wide receiver recruit Brandon Woods has not publicly stated which other schools are in the mix for his services other than UVa – the school to which he has verbally committed. With his senior season completed and his focus turning to recruiting, Woods is comfortable listing another team in the mix.

“South Carolina is another school I’m looking at,” Woods said. “Coach Spurrier’s son talked to me the other day.”

When asked if there were any other schools seriously in contention, Woods said “those are the 2 main schools as of now.”

Woods has set 2 official visits. He goes to South Carolina on January 14th and UVa on January 21st. What will be the most important factors in his final decision?
