The University of Virginia has turned up the intensity in their recruitment of Harrisburg (PA) tailback Mikell Simpson . Bob Price and Anthony Poindexter visited Harrisburg High School on December 10th and Price followed up with an in-home with the Simpson’s on December 12th. What did Price have to say to Simpson on the in-home?

“Basically, he was saying that he doesn’t want anybody else’s decision to have a big influence on my decision,” Simpson said. “If I feel comfortable at a place, I should just go there.”

Before UVa’s latest surge, Simpson had thought Alabama was recruiting him the hardest. UVa appears to have caught the Tide in that department.

“Yes they are,” Simpson replied when asked if he thought UVa was now recruiting him equally as hard as Alabama. “Alabama and Virginia are even on virtually all angles I think.”
