Salem (N.J.) 4-star linebacker Lamont Robinson will announce his final decision today around 2:00 pm at his high school. The 6-2, 225-pound prospect says that he will decide among “Oklahoma, Georgia, Virginia, West Virginia and Iowa.”

Heading into the announcement, Robinson says he had made the decision and informed the coaches at each school of his choice.

“Yeah I have,” Robinson said when asked if he had made his final decision. “I prayed about it for a long time and hoped it would become painfully obvious to me. It was easy making the decision but it was tough telling the other coaches that have recruited me for so long that I wouldn’t be going to their school.”

Robinson, who committed to UVa in June of 2004, re-opened his recruitment in November and has made official visits to Georgia, Ohio State and Oklahoma. He had continued to say that he was still committed to UVa up until this past week, when several reports indicated that UVa had slipped from the top.
