6-3, 200-pound wide receiver Vidal Hazelton has starred for Moore Catholic (Staten Island, NY) over the past two seasons. There is a chance he may not be returning to Moore for next year, as his family is seriously considering a move out of New York.

“I might be,” Hazelton said of changing schools. “It depends on my family. My family wants to move down to Virginia, so if we move then I’ve got no choice. But if I do transfer, I want to go to a prep school as a senior so I can stay focused.”

Of the possibility he will move, Hazelton says “I think there’s a good chance it would happen because my parents are kind of tired of New York. They want to move to the Norfolk, Virginia Beach or the Chesapeake area.”

If he is forced to transfer, two prep schools currently stand out as the likeliest possibilities.
