Phoebus (Hampton, VA) star Brent Vinson enjoyed a breakout performance at the Nike camp in Blacksburg, posting a 4.39 time in the 40-yard dash as well as a 39-inch vertical leap. He also showed off his skills as a receiver in the one-on-one drills. While he is an impressive receiver prospect, it appears most schools believe he could play other positions as well.

“They are saying they’re labeling me as an athlete,” Vinson said of the schools recruiting him.

Wide receiver certainly remains an option, with cornerback being the other likely spot. Vinson, who was recently named as one of the nation’s top 30 cornerback prospects by ESPN.com, has been offered by one school strictly as a corner.
