A week ago today, King and Low Heywood (Stamford, CT) star Nate Collins gave his verbal commitment to the University of Virginia. He had received a scholarship offer just a few days after an outstanding performance at UVa’s summer camp and committed a few days later. TheSabre.com caught up with the 6-2, 270-pound linebacker/defensive end recruit to discuss his camp experience, his decision and more.

Collins is very strong, as he can bench press 345 pounds. A defensive lineman in high school, he had about seven sacks and 50 tackles last season as a junior. Academically, he is very solid with a 3.0 grade point average and a 1,000 on the SAT. He wants to major in Marketing.
