Ocean Township (Oakhurst, N.J.) offensive lineman Lou Eliades returned yesterday from an unofficial visit to Virginia Tech. It was his first-ever visit to Virginia Tech, which is currently in his top five along with Maryland, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

What did the 6-4, 288-pound star recruit think of the experience?

“I really liked the campus,” Eliades said. “The campus was nice and the football facilities were awesome. The campus was kind of compact. It’s all there together. That was kind of cool because I don’t want a campus where everything’s all scattered around. I met coach Beamer and coach Pearman and I spent most of my time with coach Rogers. Coach Rogers is a really nice guy. He was showing me around campus and everything and he was just a really nice guy.”
