Raynard Horne ’s first season playing varsity football was a solid. He rushed for 500 yards and 12 touchdowns, helping Overlea (Baltimore, MD) to a 7-3 record and just barely missing a playoff appearance. Horne’s performances during camps this spring and summer have helped his stock continue to rise, as he now has one Division 1A offer in the fold and is receiving interest from several other Division 1A programs as well.

“At the Penn State Nike camp, he ran a 4.46 in the 40,” Overlea head coach Keith Robinson said. “He had a 36.3 inch vertical jump, which I think was the fourth highest at the entire camp of over 400 kids. And he did 22 reps on the 185 bench. In our weight room last week, he benched 320 pounds.”
