Wakefield (Raleigh, N.C.) defensive tackle recruit Gavin Smith , who had committed to North Carolina State last February, is no longer considering the Wolfpack and is focusing now on two other programs for his college choice. A decision could come next week for the 6-4, 265-pound prospect.

“I’m probably going to decide after my visit to Virginia [this weekend],” said Smith, who made an official visit to South Carolina this past weekend. He has an official scheduled to North Carolina for the weekend of the 27th, but is leaning towards not taking that trip.

The visit to Columbia was his first ever experience there.
