Action Heating Up At Spring Practice

The Virginia football team held another marathon practice session Sunday afternoon, clocking in at approximately 2.5 hours. This came on the heels of what was nearly a 3-hour session on Saturday. One note of concern was Eugene Monroe , a sophomore tackle.

During some drill work on the far field, Monroe was injured. He was taken from the field on a cart. His status is unknown as is the severity of the injury or even what the injury was. The Sabre will update the injury whenever information is available from UVa. Monroe had moved into the left tackle slot vacated by D’Brickashaw Ferguson.

The Cavaliers return to practice on Monday. The next practice open to the public is on Saturday, April 8, at 1:15 p.m.
