The May Evaluation period is almost complete, and the Virginia Cavaliers have landed nine verbal commitments in the 2007 recruiting class. Certainly a good start for a program that, in the 2005 class, racked up 17 commitments by the end of July. Virginia’s commitment number could rise in the coming weeks and months, with more prospects hoping to make early decisions.
