Before last month’s summer camp, UVa had expressed interest in Lawrenceville Prep (N.J.) LB/FB Ben Pooler . But, after the camp session, there is another Lawrenceville standout on UVa’s radar. TheSabre.com caught up with Pooler and WR/DB Calvin Otis to find out just how hard the staff is recruiting each player and to get their thoughts on last month’s camp.

Ben Pooler transferred to Lawrenceville for his junior year after spending the first two years of his high school career in Morristown, New Jersey. An all-state prep performer, the 6-2, 230-pound Pooler racked up 47 total tackles including four sacks and made one interception as well last season as a junior. A fullback on offense, he had 62 carries for 360 yards. He is a receiving threat as well and had 15 receptions last season.
