The University of Virginia camp was the only one offensive tackle recruit Landon Bradley decided to attend this summer and the Conway (S.C.) standout made the most of his opportunity. In fact, had he been ready to make a commitment, he may already be part of UVa’s 2007 recruiting class.

“Coach Groh pulled me aside during practice and asked me if I’d like to play for Virginia,” Bradley recalled of his UVa camp experience. “I definitely would love to play Division 1 football, so I said yeah. He said if I was ready to commit right then, then I’d have an offer. I told him I needed more time to think it over and he said he understood. He told me he wouldn’t put that kind of pressure on me now and that there were still a couple things they needed to look at before they would extend an official offer. He said they would be in contact.”

The staff has stayed in contact with Bradley, a player who has really developed physically over the past year. A good overall athlete, Bradley also plays basketball and participates in track and field.
