The men’s and women’s basketball teams are racing toward their respective season openers, which are set for early November. The women open first with a road tilt on Friday, Nov. 10 at Rhode Island – the Cavs then return to open the John Paul Jones Arena on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 1:30 p.m. against Old Dominion. The men’s team follows hours later with a 7 p.m. showdown with the Arizona Wildcats.
