Brandon Spurlock does not yet have an offer from the University of Virginia, but he was invited to and will make an official visit there this weekend. The 5-10, 185-pound Henrico (Richmond, VA) wide receiver/cornerback hopes to find out more about UVa’s scholarship situation after this weekend’s visit, which he will take with teammate Corey Mosley .

“Coach [Mike] Groh is coming up to our school [today] to pick up transcripts and to finalize everything,” Spurlock said. “Corey and I are driving to UVa on Friday and coming back on the 10th.”

Of the visit, Spurlock says “I’m pretty excited about this one. I’ve been to Virginia a lot, but this is my time to see what life is really like there. Corey and I are both pretty excited. Coach [Mike] Groh told us at the Miami game to come up this weekend, so we’ve been planning it.”
