Though Henrico High School (Richmond, VA) standout WR/CB Brandon Spurlock did not come away from his official visit to UVa with an official scholarship offer, he still had a terrific experience and continues to hope for an offer from the ‘Hoos between now and Signing Day.

“I had a lot of fun,” said Spurlock, a 5-10, 185-pound prospect, of his official visit to UVa. His host was freshman DB Mike Parker. “I enjoyed hanging out with the players, hanging out with the coaches, eating a lot of food and getting to know the environment. I would rate the visit as a 10. I saw more of the school this time. I saw things I liked. I knew most of the players from having been to games and it felt like home. It feels like my home.”

Prior to the visit, Spurlock felt he was being recruited by the UVa staff as an athlete. He now has a clearer picture of where the staff would want him to play.
