Dontrelle Inman had a strong, positive feeling about the University of Virginia ever since he made an unofficial visit there this past August. The feeling has proved to be lasting, as the 6-2 ½, 185-pound Batesburg-Leesville (S.C.) wide receiver recruit pledged to the ‘Hoos this evening during a press conference at his high school.

Inman chose the ‘Hoos over Georgia Tech and other offers including Auburn, Kentucky and South Carolina. Virginia was the only school to receive an official visit.

“When he was talking, he was talking about the academic part of Virginia,” Batesburg-Leesville Head Coach Courtney McInnis said this evening. “The education is tops at Virginia. They graduate their student athletes. And I think Coach Groh does good job with his kids. Dontrelle really liked the coaches and campus.
