Four-star wide receiver/defensive back Chase Minnifield , one of UVa’s prized commitments for the 2007 recruiting class, recently suffered a torn ACL while playing for Henry Clay’s (Lexington, KY) varsity basketball squad. Last Thursday, he had surgery to repair the injured knee and is now in the beginning stages of rehabilitation.
