Mark Ambrose committed to the University of Virginia last April, so it has been a long wait for him to sign a letter of intent with the ‘Hoos. That wait will come to an end next Wednesday, and he was re-energized about his decision following an excellent official visit experience this past weekend.

“It was excellent,” Ambrose said of his official visit to UVa. “I didn’t get to experience UVa like this on previous unofficial visits. It was something I really wanted to get to know. I felt real comfortable. Being able to meet new people – I met pretty much all of the football players – helped me get a lot of things answered.

“I was very thankful to be able to make the trip. I was almost like a reward for finishing the semester. It was relaxing and I was really excited about it.”
