TAMPA, Fla. – Forget about going into the NCAA Tournament on a hot streak. Wherever Virginia winds up playing on Thursday or Friday, the Cavaliers will be looking to avoid finishing the season on a three-game losing streak. Dave Leitao’s Hoos have done that just once this season when they dropped three straight in early January.

In recent weeks, Virginia has suffered losses at the hands of the three worst teams in the ACC – Miami, Wake Forest, and N.C. State. It’s almost easy to overlook the fact that that the Cavaliers beat Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech during the same time span.
