St. George’s School (Memphis, TN) guard Elliot Williams showed why he is being heavily courted by ACC and SEC programs with an excellent performance this season. Averaging 23 points, five assists, five rebounds and four steals per game, the 6-4 prospect led St. George’s to a 25-6 record, a small schools championship title and an appearance in the Division 2 state championship game.

A key player, Williams has developed a reputation for coming up big in key situations.

“When we need one guy we know we can go to and one guy who can bring the ball up against pressure, Elliot was that guy for us,” St. George’s head coach Jeff Ruffin said. “He is a good clutch player. He made a lot of free throws for us down the stretch. He had a few standout performances in big games. Against Evangelical Christian School, he didn’t score a lot but he did a great job of running the offense and getting the ball inside. Against Brentwood, he scored 40 points. That was in the state quarterfinals. We needed him on and he was on.”
