Newsday all-Long Island performer Scott Vallone , a 6-2, 260-pound defensive lineman out of St. Anthony’s (Long Island, N.Y.), visited the University of Virginia on February 24th. He plans to return to Charlottesville tomorrow and has another visit planned for next week.

“I plan on going this Friday for a practice and back for the spring game,” Vallone said.

Of his first experience at Virginia, he said, “It was good. I got there – it was a Saturday morning, so I watched them do a morning workout. After that, Coach Groh took us around and took me and my parents around the campus.”
