Virginia’s Jason Snelling is likely returning to fullback in the NFL.

The 2007 NFL Draft rolls on to the calendar this weekend as football players around the country wait to see if their name will be called by a professional team. As many as 11 Cavaliers could be considered among the hopeful, but Jason Snelling is the most likely to be selected over the weekend. After all, Snelling is considered one of the top fullbacks on the board by many draft analysts.

The Cavalier senior said he is “real excited” about the weekend. After all, the NFL is something youngsters dream about long before their high school or college days even begin.

“You dream about it when you’re young. You don’t even think about college as one of the processes you go through, you just think about going to the NFL. It’s been a dream of mine since I was little,” Snelling said. “I’m happy to get the opportunity. I know if I keep working hard to get there, I’ll be successful.”
