When Brian O’Connor emphasized “now we have all hands on deck” after Saturday night’s 7-4 win over Oregon State, he truly meant it. Thanks to Sunday’s rain in the Charlottesville area, the Cavalier coach actually might have a few more options with UVa’s next game scheduled for 6 p.m. on Monday against the OSU and Rutgers winner.

Originally, O’Connor was going to wait Sunday night until the Knights and Beavers played until he made his decision between Pat McAnaney, Matt Packer, and Andrew Carraway to start Monday. Due to the rain, the timing of that choice will likely be altered unless O’Connor wants to wait until after the 1 p.m. game on Monday to make a decision. That seems unlikely.
