Virginia will have to wait at least another week for a decision from 4-star center John Brandenburg . According to Brandenburg’s father, Jim, the 6-11, 235-pound prospect will make another visit before announcing a commitment.

“John is taking an official visit to Stanford the weekend of September 28th and will make a decision after the visit,” Jim Brandenburg wrote in an e-mail earlier this morning.

Brandenburg made an unofficial visit to Stanford in August and took an official visit to UVa on the weekend of September 9th. He had hoped to make a decision soon after the UVa trip, but has been deadlocked between the two finalists.
