One of the rising in-state prospects in the 2008 recruiting class, Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA) wide receiver Randall Dunn had picked up official offers from Virginia, Connecticut, Northern Illinois and Ohio entering last week. Last Thursday, the 6-3, 212-pound Dunn added another major offer to the fold.
The latest program to offer is Virginia Tech, a program that Dunn grew up following. Tech appears to be tough to beat in this race, but the Dolphins senior says he will explore other options as well.
“I want to say Virginia Tech is the favorite, but I still have a lot of options I have to consider as far as my education goes. Football is really secondary,” said Dunn, who is being recruited to play wide receiver by all of the interested schools. “I want to say Virginia Tech is the favorite, but I don’t want to make it seem like I’m blown over with the offer.”
