The Virginia baseball team is coming off another NCAA Tournament season – the fourth consecutive tourney season under Brian O’Connor. But for the fourth time in as many years, the Wahoos failed to advance to an NCAA Super Regional. The Hoos fell to eventual National Champion Oregon State, handing the Beavers their only NCAA Tournament loss as OSU claimed back-to-back College World Series titles.

“It comes down to one pitch here, one clutch at-bat there or an injury away from things working in your favor,” O’Connor says. “That’s how small the difference is at the end of the year.”
