Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA) defensive end Will Hill expected more than two Division 1A scholarship offers by this time, but the new offers have not come to fruition. Maryland and Virginia remain Hill’s only two Division 1A offers, but the interest from other schools certainly has been there in the month of May.

“As of right now, I don’t have any new offers on the table. But, interest is starting to pick up,” Hill said. “Penn State is coming down soon. Tennessee and Ohio State have come down. Illinois has been by. Connecticut has been by.”

In our last interview, the VHSCA first-team all-state selection had made an unofficial visit to Virginia Tech’s Spring Game. It was a visit he enjoyed and he said the coaches “seemed pretty excited about me.” The Tech staff did not offer, however, and hopes to see more of Hill next month.
