John Brandenburg plans to use the summer to get in shape for his freshman season.

Big man John Brandenburg is just ready to hit the court as a Cavalier.

“I’m really just looking forward to playing with the guys,” Brandenburg said, as he prepared to move to Charlottesville last week.

Having concluded his senior season at DeSmet Jesuit (St. Louis, MO), the 6-11, 235-pound center is finally ready to suit up.
