Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA) wide receiver Tim Smith did make the trip to Charlottesville last Saturday, and he was accompanied by teammate and close friend Perry Jones . Jones, a 5-9, 185-pound safety prospect, has of course already committed to the University of Virginia, but what did his talented teammate feel about Saturday’s experience?

“It was very nice,” said Smith, a top wide receiver who had 25 receptions for 460 yards and eight touchdowns last season as a junior. “The atmosphere was good. I liked the campus and the coaches were cool. I met with the players and I liked them.”

Smith has narrowed his list of schools to five, including Louisville, Maryland, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. Following what was his first ever visit to Virginia, how does the 6-1, 190-pound prospect feel about the Cavaliers?
