Camden (N.J.) wide receiver recruit Tyree Watkins had tentatively scheduled an official visit to the University of Virginia for this coming weekend, but he will not make the trip and will instead head to Charlottesville later in November. The 6-2, 180-pound senior discussed when he will make the official visit, but more importantly he discussed the solidity of his commitment to the Cavaliers.

“Coach Mike Groh said the best game to come to would be the Clemson game, so I’ve rescheduled for that weekend. That is definitive,” Watkins said. “I guess I would have more time to be around the team and I think maybe other recruits are coming to that game.”

The official visit to UVa was supposed to be of major importance, as Watkins would decide after the experience whether or not he would take official visits to other schools. The experience will still be important, but for now the 4-star prospect seems much more committed to the Cavaliers.
