Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA) wide receiver Justin Hunter has quickly become one of the most highly recruited prospects in the state of Virginia’s 2010 recruiting class. The 6-4, 190-pound junior boasts double-digit Division 1A scholarship offers according to Dolphins head coach Chris Scott, and much more are likely on the way.

“Justin’s recruitment has picked up tremendously,” Scott said. “He is a national recruit. There is Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Ohio State, Penn State…all of those schools. Florida wants more film. Virginia Tech has done an awesome job in regards to staying in contact with me and letting me know how interested they are in Justin. Virginia has called and kept in touch. Florida State is interested. I’ve gotten stuff from almost every ACC school. He is a kid everybody is interested in.”

According to Scott, Hunter boasts “about 15 to 20” official scholarship offers at this point. The ACC, Big 10, Big East and SEC conferences are represented, with most of the ACC having offered already. This includes Virginia and Virginia Tech. There is no clear favorite, although several schools have done well in the early going.
