On Signing Day, UVa head coach Al Groh had the following to say about 6-8, 310-pound Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA) offensive tackle prospect Hunter Steward …
“He’s a young player. He just turned 17 in his senior year,” Groh said on VirginiaSportsTV.com. “He might be the biggest player in the class and one of the most athletically skilled linemen in the class, so he’s got a very, very strong upside.”
Steward is no doubt appreciative of those comments, but he was particularly enthusiastic about the conversation he had with Virginia’s head coach on Signing Day.
