Vic Hall is working at quarterback this spring for the Hoos.

As the Virginia football team opens spring practice, Vic Hall will pick up exactly where he left off the 2008 season – at quarterback. Cavalier coach Al Groh indicated during a teleconference Friday that Hall would practice solely at quarterback this spring since he is so proficient at cornerback, where he has played almost his entire career.

“This spring Vic will work at quarterback exclusively,” Groh said. “He’s been a two and a half year starter at corner so he’s got plenty of background there and at any time that we want to utilize him over there, we think he’s got enough background.”
