Virginia has offered one rising senior prospect from Woodward Academy (College Park, GA) and still appears to be in solid shape with the prospect, 6-6, 243-pound defensive end Henry Anderson . The Cavs, led by primary recruiter Latrell Scott, have expressed heavy interest in another Woodward standout as well.

Coach Scott stopped by Woodward recently and has been in contact with both Anderson and 5-11, 212-pound running back Juwan Thompson .

“Coach Scott stopped by last week and he has spoken with Juwan and I,” Anderson said. “Juwan hasn’t visited there, so I think Coach Scott is trying to get him up for a visit. I told Coach Scott again that Virginia is one of my favorites. I liked everything about that visit. I told him I’m still really interested and they are one of my favorites up to this point. I have enjoyed talking to Coach Scott and Coach Wilt and Coach Price also sends me a lot of stuff.”

Several other schools have also impressed Anderson.
