UVa’s Big Junior Day is Here

The Elite Junior Day, an event that has been tremendously successful for the Al Groh’s Virginia football program, will take place tomorrow. This year’s version, named “Future Wahoo Day,” will bring in top targets from inside and outside the Commonwealth. TheSabre.com examines the confirmed visitors, including several prospects that could well become commitments before the day is out.

UVa currently holds commitments from two players and both hail from the state of North Carolina. Running back prospect Kevin Parks committed in February, while Tuscola quarterback Tyler Brosius pledged to the Hoos last weekend following an unofficial visit. Al Groh and company will look to keep the commitment momentum going with this event, which garnered three prospects in last year’s class and four in the 2008 class.

Below is a list of players we have confirmed so far. We’ll be sure to provide updates throughout the weekend and will report any new names we learn. At this time, we have confirmed 14 prospects for tomorrow’s event.
