UVa has just received another verbal commitment today, this time striking on the offensive side of the ball. Good Counsel (Wheaton, MD) wide receiver E.J. Scott , a 5-11, 175-pound prospect with sub 4.5-second speed in the 40, is the second confirmed commitment from today’s “Future Wahoo Day.”

“I committed,” Scott informed TheSabre.com.

A top wide receiver prospect in the state of Maryland’s 2010 recruiting class, Scott chose the Hoos over offers from East Carolina, Iowa, Maryland, Pitt, Rutgers, Wake Forest and Wisconsin. He recently named a top three of Virginia, Rutgers and Wake Forest before giving a pledge to Al Groh this afternoon.
