DeMatha Catholic (Hyattsville, MD) offensive lineman Shane Johnson, Jr. and Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA) linebacker Henry Coley entered Saturday’s Future Wahoo Day with the goal of leaving Charlottesville with a scholarship offer from head coach Al Groh. Neither player left disappointed.

“I was offered when I went into Coach Groh’s office,” Johnson recalled. “He invited me in to sit down and talk one on one. I brought in my aunt and my mother. He said he wanted to see what type of person I was. He doesn’t like to just send out offers. He is looking to build a great team and he likes to see the people first.”
