UVa Still in the Hunt with Attaochu

Jeremiah Attaochu ‘s recruiting card

Archbishop Carroll (Washington, D.C.) linebacker prospect Jeremiah Attaochu heads into the fall seemingly not close to picking his college destination. There are a handful of programs, though, that are very much on the 6-3, 220-pound rising senior’s mind.

“I sort of have a top list. I kind of have six or seven in my mind,” Attaochu said. “They are not like clear favorites or anything. As far as the ones I’ve visited, Maryland and Virginia come up. I haven’t visited that many schools. Syracuse, Kansas State, Louisville…I kind of like those schools and there are others, too.”

Believing his team to be a sleeper in the WCAC this year, Attaochu has been excited about his senior season, which begins on August 29th. It is for this reason that he has not visited many schools, but this fall he does intend to check out some college games and perhaps make official visits.
