Signing Day has come and gone. Next on the calendar is my favorite holiday: Slotting Day. (Can’t find it on your calendar? Maybe we can get Wahoo Bill to write it in on one of his.)

This year’s recruiting class is a particularly difficult one to slot because at the same time I am trying to do that, Mike London and his new staff are in the process of trying to figure out which current players on the roster to reslot to a new position. As a result, it is hard to determine how the depth chart at various positions will look when the balance of the recruiting class arrives this summer. So for now, I will just look to slot the incoming class based on the positions that I believe are the best fits for their respective skill sets, the depth chart notwithstanding.
