Starting with Sunday’s trip to the University of Virginia, top junior prospect Marshall Plumlee visited three schools in a 5-day span. The 6-11 1/2, 215-pound Christ School (N.C.) center learned one thing as a result of these trips.
“I’m realizing more and more how tough the decision will be,” Plumlee said. “Learning about playing in the programs at Michigan, Wisconsin and Virginia…I can’t find a good reason to say no. At this point, I’m going to keep working, keep visiting different schools, and hopefully I’ll be able to get a picture of where I think I fit best.”
Plumlee’s Virginia visit served two purposes.
“The Virginia visit was great,” Plumlee said. “Not only did I visit Virginia, but I got to watch my brothers [Miles and Mason] play [for Duke]. I enjoyed another look at Virginia’s campus and a chance to meet the staff. I hold a lot of respect for coach Bennett and his staff and am glad he took the time to meet with me. I’m glad I was able to make that visit.”
