West Rowan (Mount Ulla, N.C.) running back Kevin Parks Jr. attended the University of Virginia’s Spring Football Festival on April 10, but he wasn’t done seeing his future school this month. Last Thursday, the 5-8, 195-pound senior returned to Charlottesville for another visit.

“KP just went up to Virginia with me and some other recruits last Thursday as a matter of fact,” West Rowan head coach Scott Young said.

“The visit was good. The coaches treated us real well. The kids feel at home at Virginia. I just enjoyed the family atmosphere. I think Mike London is big on family.”

The “other recruits” included a pair of 2011 prospects in defensive back B.J. Sherrill. Noble and Sherrill are cousins and both are getting looks from FBS programs. Noble actually has received 12 official offers including Duke, East Carolina, North Carolina, N.C. State, Penn State, Virginia, Wake Forest, Wisconsin and West Virginia, among others.
