Rising senior Damarcus Harrison recently finished up his first full year at Christ School (Arden, N.C.) and he did well on and off the court. The 6-4, 185-pound guard now turns his attention to the late spring and summer months, which will include playing on the AAU circuit with the Carolina Ravens and making college visits, including one to the University of Virginia next month.

“I’m going to Virginia’s Elite Camp,” Harrison said. The Elite Camp takes place on June 14 and 15.

Harrison boasts four official scholarship offers, including BYU, College of Charleston, Virginia and Wisconsin. The promising prospect seems to be a top target of Cavaliers head coach Tony Bennett.

“I talk to Coach Bennett,” Harrison replied when asked which Virginia coach he speaks to the most. “I like him a lot. He’s a very cool guy. He’s humble, down to earth and he thinks highly of me. I want to go up and meet him with my family.”
