Offers continue to trickle in for Owings Mills (MD) offensive tackle Donovan Smith , who earned scholarship offers from North Carolina and N.C. State within the past week. Auburn is also starting to show more interest in the 6-6, 275-pound rising senior, who now boasts 20 scholarship offers in total.

“I was getting ready to start cutting my list, but getting more offers is just making it harder,” Smith said.

Smith certainly does not seem close to making a commitment, but he still does have a tentative timetable for narrowing things down.

“I’m planning on knocking it out and getting to about a top 10 or 12 by the end of August,” he said. “As the season goes on, I’ll continue to narrow down my list. If I don’t commit by December or January, at least I’ll have a top five.”
