Liberty Christian Academy (Lynchburg, VA) senior wide receiver Demitri Knowles will make a visit this weekend to the University of Virginia, which is currently the only FBS-level scholarship offer he possesses. LCA head coach Frank Rocco updates the latest on the 6-1, 175-pound speedster.

“He’s really holding steady,” Rocco said. “He visited Virginia Tech last weekend and is planning on coming back to UVa.”

Knowles continues to receive interest from other FBS programs. Virginia Tech is one of the most recent to join the interested list.

“The visit to Virginia Tech was just a weekend game visit,” Rocco said. “They’ve been sniffing around more than they did earlier on. U-Conn was also in because they were on the road recruiting during their bye week.”
