As Virginia looks to close out its 2011 class in strong fashion, Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA) cornerback Demetrious Nicholson certainly stands out as one of the Cavaliers top targets. The 5-9, 165-pound senior, recently named Gatorade Player of the Year in the state, has not settled on when he will make a commitment.

“There are no concrete plans,” Bayside head coach Darnell Moore said. “I’m just trying to get him to figure out when he wants to make a decision. He’s kind of tired of the process right now.”

Nicholson has taken official visits to Stanford and UVa. Michigan, North Carolina and N.C. State are also in the running according to Moore. Right now, though, only one head coach has been in-home with the big-time prospect.

“Coach London came through and did an in-home visit last week,” Moore said. “No other head coaches have been through other than that.”
