Another Huge Signing Day Get For UVa

TheSabre.com’s #2 player in the state has decided to stay in-state. Dominique Terrell , a 5-11, 175-pound athlete out of Osbourn High School (Manassas, VA), has signed with the University of Virginia. Terrell is the second 4-star recruit to announce for Virginia today, joining Darius Jennings .

Terrell chose the Cavaliers over Miami and West Virginia.

After attending Osbourn Park for his first three years of high school, was a dominant force for Osbourn in 2010. Playing quarterback, he compiled 2,070 yards rushing and 1,419 yards passing. Osbourn captured district and region championships in 2010 before falling in the state semifinals to Stone Bridge. As a junior at Osbourn Park, Terrell totaled over 2,000 yards of offense.

Possessing outstanding quickness and athletic ability, Terrell has potential at wide receiver, cornerback, and in the return game as a punt and kick-off returner. He’ll likely play offense at Virginia, though he is listed as an athlete on Virginiasports.com.

The Cavaliers now have commitments from two of the TheSabre.com’s top three prospects in the state in Terrell (#2) and cornerback Demetrious Nicholson (#3). The number one player, linebacker Curtis Grant , will announce his college choice at 1:50 pm on ESPNU.
