Hoos On The Road Again

Mike London and the Cavaliers are taking their talents to Alexandria this weekend.

Spring practice rolls on for the Cavaliers as the football team heads north to Alexandria, Virginia, this weekend. Coach Mike London and his staff are busy both spreading the word about UVa Football and preparing the team for the 2011 season. Things are far from settled as far as position battles are concerned, and there are still plenty of players fighting for a spot on the roster. The team will be using their second road trip of the spring to improve both community relations off the field and performance between the lines.

On The Road Again

Although it seems like the football team just got back from its trip to Hampton, the buses are already prepared to roll out again. This time, the destination lies to the north. Alexandria is situated in the midst of the D.C.-Maryland metro region, which makes it an ideal location to attract coaches, fans, and recruits from the surrounding areas. Episcopal High School has the facilities to host the Cavaliers, and the timing for this visit couldn’t be more ideal. The practice is set for 1 to 3 p.m. with gates opening at noon.
